Before asserting herself as a painter, France Lefebvre had an unusual journey.
At 19, she enrolled in mechanical drawing classes, attended exclusively by young men at the time. In fact, she is the only girl from the former Pont-Viau school in Laval to take this course.
Upon her release, she made her mark at SNC Lavalin, one of the largest engineering firms in Canada. She then drew up plans for factories and refineries.
Afew years later, she devoted herself entirely to her art and over the years, specialized in architectural representations of the picturesque streets of Quebec and Montreal. Using the vanishing point technique, she creates very special scenes that invite reverie.
